Like all other African-American (Black) young women, it has been a struggle during my teen years. I have a great amount of support from the positive women in my life, but not everyone is fortunate like me. The questions I always thought about were: How do I become the queen that I know I am? How do I talk to my other black sisters about empowerment in a generation where we seem to look up to the reality show stars that show the African-American female in a negative light? How do we overcome these obstacles? Teen Sistah Talk is a website where all of us can come together and talk about the topics that all of us think about such as relationships, hair, self-confidence, religious beliefs and other topics and problems that affects our particular group in society.TST Purpose
