My name is Jarmeisha, Meisha for short. I am an African-American, 19 year old, current college student, majoring in English and minoring in French. In my spare time, I love to write poetry and stories, listen to music, talk about natural hair care, give advice, and have discussions with my sisters and friends.
One day I was sitting down and thinking back on my teen years: all the good times, the bad times, and the learning times. You know the normal stuff that each of us may have gone through. As I approach the age of 20 and exit my teen years in a couple of months, I decided to make a blog where I can help other teenage "sistahs" become young women and queens that they are meant to be.
Update (10/21/14)- I am now 21 years young and I hope to continue to influence young women through this blog.
